This coffee lot is produced in Kenya's most famous coffee growing region sitting at the slopes of Mt Kenya. Those are Nyeri, Kirinyaga and Embu, where several smallholder producers are picking ripe coffee cherries and delivering them to the washing station.
At the washing station, the coffee is sorted, de-pulped and fermented overnight in large tanks to remove the sticky mucilage around the parchment.
This coffee is complex in flavour with sparkling acidity.
