Our latest single-origin is soft and mouthwatering. The pear sings through every sip.
This new brew comes from Jaén, Cajamarca, a renowned coffee-growing region in northern Peru. Nestled in the highlands, Jaén is home to countless smallholder farmers and cooperatives. Its unique combination of altitude, rich soil, and microclimate produces coffee with distinctive notes of citrus, berries, chocolate, and florals.
This coffee comes from Wilder García Bravo, a third-generation coffee producer from Jaén. He owns 23 hectares of land, with 16 dedicated solely to coffee, sitting between 1,750 and 1,950 meters above sea level.
The García family has been growing coffee with care and commitment since the 1970s. Today, Wilder carries on that legacy with a vision rooted in both environmental and social responsibility. Producing coffees that are not only delicious, but deeply considered.
Agnese, our Quality Control Specialist and Coffee Trainer, says it reminds her of her grandma’s summer fruit compote. Every year, at the tail end of summer, her grandma made this compote using pears. She’d drink litres of it as it was so delicious. A brew that brings back special memories.
